Australian band five Seconds of Summer create spirited, high-energy music that straddles the road between '90s punk-pop and 2000s boy band pop. fashioned in 2011, the band options fellow Norwest Christian school grads Luke Hemmings (lead vocals/guitar), archangel Clifford (guitar/vocals), Calum Hood (bass/vocals), and Sir Frederick Ashton Irwin (drums/vocals). The band uploaded many videos to YouTube and quickly caught the eye of Sony, that signed the band to a publication deal. In 2012, five Seconds of Summer discharged 2 EPs, Unplugged and Somewhere New. the subsequent year, they received an additional boost once they were asked to open for Britain's One Direction travelling, and shortly thenceforth they signed with Capitol Records. In 2014, five Seconds of Summer discharged their third EP, She appearance thus excellent, and their self-titled debut album was expected to follow presently later.
